What it’s like
Infernal delivers a brisk, third-person action-adventure experience set in a supernatural Cold War. Players control Dark Eaville, an agent of Hell tasked with stopping Heaven’s rogue agency during a rare planetary alignment that suspends cosmic rules. The premise is a stylized good-versus-evil conflict handled with tongue-in-cheek humor rather than theological depth. Gameplay centers on visceral, over-the-shoulder combat featuring dual-wielding, telekinesis, and destructible environments. The tone balances gritty surveillance aesthetics with absurd demonic powers, creating a unique atmosphere that feels both tense and playful. While the narrative provides a simple framework for the action, the core appeal lies in the fluid mechanics and high-fidelity visuals. It is a spectacle-driven shooter where satisfying gunplay and environmental interaction take precedence over complex storytelling or character development.
