Based after the events of the blockbuster movie (starring Eric Bana), you play Dr. Bruce Banner and his alter ego, green giant The Hulk. After fighting his way through the first year of his new identity, Bruce and The Hulk must now face a new enemy, The Leader, who wants to use the same gamma technology that created The Hulk in Bruce to develop an army of giants. Levels in the game have you controlling either Bruce or The Hulk. Bruce must use his smaller size to sneak around areas 'Splinter Cell' style, while The Hulk can bash and blast his way through enemy territory in every way possible, with over 40 different attacks to use.

What it’s like

This title offers a dual-perspective adventure that splits its identity between the cerebral and the visceral. You navigate levels as Bruce Banner, employing stealth mechanics reminiscent of tactical espionage games to bypass threats using your smaller stature and intellect. The tone shifts dramatically when you transform into the Hulk, unleashing chaotic, high-impact melee combat against gamma-infused enemies. The experience is defined by this stark contrast: quiet, methodical planning versus explosive, physics-based destruction. While the narrative serves primarily as a bridge to the film's events rather than a deep literary endeavor, the core appeal lies in the tactile satisfaction of smashing through environments and executing over forty distinct attacks. It captures the raw power fantasy of the character effectively, though it prioritizes immediate action loops over complex systemic depth or long-term replayability.

Strong in CombatGameplay / MechanicsPacing

Keep in mind The campaign is notably short, offering little content beyond its initial burst of activity. The stealth segments can feel repetitive and lack the sophistication of dedicated genre titles, making the transition to pure combat the primary draw.
