Based on the extensive universe of Warhammer 40,000, Eternal Crusade will take gamers into a vicious battle between four factions of the 41st millennium in order to control a persistent world at war. Whether it is PvP (Player versus Player) or PvE (Player versus Environment) squads will have to work together and engage in massive battles and exterminate the other factions! To do so; fans can choose from twenty different sub-factions, earn hundreds of weapons, customization options and accessories drawn from 29 years of Warhammer 40,000 lore to create their perfect warriors. Your faction is your family now. Plan your strategy from orbit, then face death side-by-side with them as you defend strongholds or delve into the Underworld to combat hordes of ravening Tyranids. Victory is not a thing for a single warrior to claim, but the result of the fury of armies. Dive into the shifting frontlines and crush your foes by cutting off supply lines, sieging walled fortresses and striking deep into the heart of enemy territory. Go toe-to-toe in melee, snipe your enemies from afar or fire into the fray from one of the seats of a gun-loaded Predator tank. Combat in Eternal Crusade ranges from a personal clashing of swords to truly epic warfare involving hundreds of other players. Choose your allegiances and background, then earn hundreds of weapons and accessories drawn from 26 years of 40k lore to craft your perfect warrior.

What it’s like

Eternal Crusade delivers a visceral, large-scale third-person shooter experience rooted in the grimdark Warhammer 40,000 universe. The core loop revolves around massive faction warfare, where players choose from iconic armies like Space Marines or Orks to engage in objective-based battles that blend PvP conflict with PvE hordes of Tyranids. The atmosphere is thick with the franchise’s signature industrial gothic tone, supported by heavy audio design and distinct visual identities for each sub-faction. Progression involves earning hundreds of lore-accurate weapons and customization options to tailor your warrior, offering a satisfying sense of build variety without deep RPG mechanics. While the premise promises an 'eternal' persistent struggle, the actual experience is defined by its chaotic, team-oriented combat rather than narrative depth or world exploration. It captures the feeling of being a cog in a galactic war machine, prioritizing immediate tactical engagement and faction loyalty over long-term storytelling.

Keep in mind The game suffers from significant technical instability and balance issues that detract from the competitive integrity. Its player base is extremely niche, making matchmaking difficult and reducing the longevity of the 'persistent' world aspect.
