Synopsis
The Raven - Legacy of a Master Thief is a thrilling crime adventure in three chapters from the creators of 'The Book of Unwritten Tales'. Full of twists and turns, it immerses you in both sides of the story, combining thrill-of-the-chase whodunit with the risk and reward of a heist story. This remastered version features fully remastered animations, lighting and hair in full HD resolution.
What it’s like
Set in 1960s London, The Raven Remastered offers a dual-perspective crime thriller where players alternate between a determined police constable and a legendary master thief. The experience is defined by its clever narrative structure, which immerses you in both the investigation and the execution of high-stakes heists. Writing and character interactions are standout strengths, delivering witty dialogue and engaging personalities that drive the mystery forward. While the point-and-click mechanics are functional and rewarding for puzzle enthusiasts, they lack the depth or innovation of genre classics. The atmosphere is thick with period-appropriate tension and noir aesthetics, though the visual presentation feels dated despite the HD remaster. Movement can feel clunky, and the overall package offers a solid, entertaining mystery without pushing technical boundaries.

Keep in mind The point-and-click controls and character movement can feel stiff and imprecise, which may frustrate players seeking tight mechanical execution. · As a remaster of a 2013 title, it offers minimal new content or visual overhaul, making the value proposition questionable for those who have already played the original.
