Synopsis
Perform Rayman’s signature punch and helicopter hair glide through colorful worlds, from the Dream Forest and its unforgettable mosquito ride to Band Land’s musical chaos. Rescue the Electoons and save the world from Mr. Dark in a classic platforming adventure that remains as magical today as it was in the 90s.
What it’s like
This collection is a love letter to platforming history, offering five distinct playable versions of the original 1995 classic alongside a playable prototype and over 120 bonus levels. The experience is defined by its surreal, hand-drawn aesthetic and whimsical tone, where limbless movement feels fluid and expressive. You navigate dreamlike landscapes filled with musical chaos and imaginative enemies, driven by pure mechanical joy rather than narrative weight. The package is heavily curated by Digital Eclipse, featuring a documentary that contextualizes the game's legacy. While the core adventure remains tight and charming, the sheer volume of content can feel overwhelming, shifting focus from a single polished journey to a museum-like exploration of design evolution.

Keep in mind The inclusion of five different versions may dilute the experience for players seeking a definitive, unified take on the game rather than a comparative study. Additionally, the original platforming mechanics can feel dated and unforgiving to modern audiences unaccustomed to 90s difficulty curves.
