What it’s like
Planet of Lana offers a breathtaking, hand-painted visual journey through a sci-fi world where nature and machinery collide. The experience is defined by its cinematic presentation rather than mechanical complexity; you guide a young girl and her loyal companion through a series of beautifully crafted puzzles and platforming challenges. The narrative unfolds with emotional resonance, focusing on themes of harmony, loss, and the bond between humans and animals against a backdrop of encroaching cold technology. While the plot provides context for your journey, the true strength lies in the atmospheric immersion—every frame is a work of art, supported by an enchanting musical score that enhances the mood. The pacing is deliberate and gentle, allowing players to soak in the environmental storytelling without pressure. It feels less like a game with levels and more like an interactive animated film, prioritizing aesthetic beauty and emotional impact over intricate systems or high-stakes challenges.
