What it’s like

You play as Mara Forest, investigating the mysterious disappearance of owner Edward Crow in this 1990s-inspired adventure. The game excels at atmosphere and pacing, creating an enthralling mystery that is difficult to put down. While it features shooter elements, combat is minimal and tense rather than action-heavy, focusing on survival and resource management. The narrative is a defining strength, offering a self-aware, funny, and emotionally resonant story that distinguishes itself from generic horror tropes. World design is excellent, with creative puzzles that feel integral to the environment. Visually, it captures the retro aesthetic of early survival horror games with polished execution.
