City of Light is the fifth and final episode in first season of Batman: The Telltale Series. Based on who you decided to fight at the end of previous episode, Penguin or Two Face, at the beginning of this episode you head to deal with the other one. Both Oswald Cobblepot known as Penguin, and Harvey Dent known as Two Face, were once Bruce's good friends, and this time he is forced to fight them as they have gone berserk in their devilish schemes to control Gotham city.

What it’s like

City of Light serves as the dramatic capstone to a season defined by fractured identity and moral ambiguity. The experience centers on Bruce Wayne’s internal conflict as he confronts former allies turned adversaries, forcing players to weigh the consequences of their accumulated choices against the weight of destiny. Visually, it maintains Telltale’s signature comic-book aesthetic, utilizing dynamic lighting and expressive character models to convey emotional gravity. Narratively, it prioritizes high-stakes interpersonal drama over mechanical complexity, relying on dialogue trees and quick-time events to drive the plot forward. The tone is somber and theatrical, emphasizing tragedy and redemption. While the gameplay loop remains familiar—exploring environments and making binary choices—the focus here is squarely on narrative closure and character resolution rather than systemic depth or replayability.

Keep in mind The pacing feels rushed in its final act, sacrificing emotional resonance for plot convenience. · Mechanically repetitive; players seeking deep combat or exploration will find it shallow.
