APB Reloaded
Aug 02, 2024 2 years ago
The world’s first and premier Action MMO Third Person Shooter allows you to choose between two sides of the law. Play as Enforcer or Criminal, customize your gear for the task at hand and hit the streets and play how you want in a city filled with more action this side of a Hollywood blockbuster. It was originally released as APB: All Points Bulletin in 2010 before relaunching as a free-to-play game. It was released on Xbox One in 2016 and PS4 in 2017. In 2024 both console versions were delisted as Little Orbit and PLAION decided to sunset APB Reloaded on console platforms. Console players can migrate their characters to PC as the servers for the console versions go offline.
What it’s like
APB Reloaded offers a chaotic, player-driven urban warfare experience set in the sprawling metropolis of San Paro. The core loop revolves around asymmetric multiplayer conflict: players choose to be an Enforcer maintaining order or a Criminal causing havoc, engaging in relentless, fast-paced gunfights and vehicular combat across a persistent open world. The game’s defining strength lies in its extensive customization systems, allowing deep personalization of both characters and vehicles, which fosters a unique visual identity for every participant. While the narrative is minimal, serving merely as a backdrop for factional power struggles, the atmosphere is thick with arcade-style adrenaline and spontaneous social interactions. The structure supports endless replayability through dynamic PvP encounters rather than scripted missions. However, the experience relies heavily on server population health; without active communities, the chaotic synergy that defines the game diminishes significantly, making it a title best enjoyed in robust, populated servers.

Keep in mind The game requires an active, healthy player base to function well; low population servers can feel empty and unengaging. · As a free-to-play title with microtransactions, progression can feel grindy or pay-to-win depending on the current state of its economy.
